The IMMY Mark I™ headset contains all of the hardware required to develop, view and interact with mixed reality and virtual reality content. This includes the display hardware and optics, as well as a suite of sensors which enable the application to calculate the position of the headset in real time, in addition to recognizing user gestures and nearby objects.
The basic model IMMY Mark I™ includes one stereo RGB forward-facing image sensor pair, one forward-facing RGB+D image sensor for gesture recognition, and a 9-axis IMU for orientation measurement. We also offer a rangefinder module, which enables extremely accurate and stable positioning of augmented content.
An insert with your prescription may be attached to the IMMY Mark 1.
There are several potential options available - your host device, a bluetooth controller, and subtle hand gestures along with voice control. IMMY’s middleware enables standard HMI protocols.
If there’s any problem with your order, don’t hesitate to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
It’s highly unlikely. IMMY Inc. places a premium on safety and comfort. The Mark 1 utilizes a variable transmission outer lens, allowing the user to adjust the level of opacity while providing a comfortable view. This feature is key to overriding the body’s reaction that causes dizziness and nausea.
Anywhere around the world except ITAR restricted countries.
The IMMY Mark I headset comes with an environmental sensor set which includes three (3) forward facing cameras and an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). It also includes a microphone, a pair of detachable headphones and a micro USB AUX port. The Mark 1 connects to a host via a USB C cable. Also included are removeable over ear headphones, initial IMMY SDK with its open-source software, and technical documentation.
By emulating in a near-to-eye imaging system how the eyes and visual cortex see the real world, the IMMY Mark 1 enables the image generator to dynamically render an object at any distance. A technical white-paper will be published addressing this complex issue in the coming the months.
Natural Eye Optics™ is the name we’ve given to the optical system used in IMMY devices. We’ve chosen this name because our lens-less organic optic system replicates the way you see the world. In the real world there’s only air between the image you see and your eyes, no prisms, no diffractors, no light guides…just air. This natural approach is how the optic system works in the IMMY Mark 1.
We will be shipping a beta version with the initial orders. We will be releasing additional versions as they become available. If you would like to learn more, please sign up for updates.
